How WWC Began
A letter from Founder, Alice P. Arnold, PhD

Welcome! I am delighted that you are exploring Wisdom Wellness Circles. WWC first arrived in a dream a few days after my breast cancer diagnosis. The idea to offer programs focused on living with illness arose at a time of suffering illness and hope for life. In the first days after my diagnosis, I dreamt of a virtual retreat with my computer screen full of lovely faces. I shared music and pictures and poems. Grounded in my studies of depth psychology, I shared a short teaching on connecting with inner wisdom. I woke from this dream with a bodily felt sense of a calling to manifest this dream. It is with joy and gratitude that I share this with you.

- Wisdom is the insight to discern the deeper meaning of our experiences.
- Wellness encompasses physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and social well-being.
- Circles symbolize unity, balance, community, and wholeness.
The offerings of WWC are designed to support connection with inner wisdom, cultivate wellness, and develop the wholeness of a life lived with a breast cancer diagnosis.
